I am always switching between the 123 clicky to the 2AA clicky and sometimes the 1AA FATboy twisty. I am begining to notice (what i am assuming is alum build up) on the threads of all three accessories. Question is what is the best lubrication to use on them, Silicone, etc.?

You're going to get at least a dozen different answers. Do as you wish, however I've been using Radio General Purpose lube for over 2-years now. I'm still on the same tube. It around $5.00 per tube and will last forever. I use it on the thread and o-rings of every light I own.

Another RatShack lube user. I looked for spark plug lubricant for awhile, but was not successsful at the auto parts stores, then that $5 coupon came up at RS. Using it with no problem since. One tube lasts forever, as TIN sez.

Same thing - I've seen a bunch of different answers, but I've been using the RS lube for about a year and a half, no problems on a variety of lights.

I got some silicone grease (among other things) from Circuit Specialists and a free DMM to boot! It's not a Fluke or anything, but it seems to get the job done. If you can find $40 of stuff you need besides the silicone grease, you may consider this place. They do have a ton of stuff.

As everyone has said ordinary silicone grease works fine.
I managed to get hold of some Nye 759g for the threads and some 779zc for the O rings. Even using this you will still get some black oxidation.
