CMG Infinity + Lithium = Good

I own several single LED task lights and find them to be more than adequate as my night vision is quite good. I had always wanted a CMG Infinity tasklight fully understanding that light output was not a strong point with this unit - potential 40 hour run times are what interested me.

Having bought a CMG, I was a bit dissapointed with light output (compared to all my other singles), so I tossed in an Energizer AA lithium battery and would have to say that there is a noticeable improvement in brightness...

So antee up and pop a lithium in your CMG and you won't be dissapointed.

on a similar note:I found some Energizer lithium AA batteries on sale so I bought them for my Arc LS.I'm not really sure why,as they are listed as having the same voltage as AA alkalines,but they make the light noticeably brighter.Plus they are quite a bit lighter.
