On the HDS Web site, they mention that their Consulting Services are provided through HDS Manufacuring, Inc., and that one of their clients is Arc Flashlight.

Is this why the HDS light looks so much like the Arc 4, or is the size and shape of both lights a natural fallout from designing a light around a 123 battery?

Yes, Henry was contracted at one point but I don't think he sold the Arc4+ design to Arc.

Photon,

The history is available to read in post #552738 - 04/30/04 09:44 AM .

Read this before thinking about posting any further comments this thread.

HDS Systems provided consulting services to get the Arc LSH into production and to resolve a few issues in the ArcAAA. HDS Systems did NOT provide consulting services for the Arc4 project. The Arc4 project was done solely by HDS Systems (and paid for by HDS Systems) and Arc Flashlight was provided a manufacturing license to produce the Acr4. That license was terminated in April 2004.

Please do not continue further discussion of this topic.

Henry.

Sasha asked us to keep this controversy off the forum. It doesn't do any good to defend your point (again) and then claim that the topic should not be continued after you said your bit.

The original question wasn't supposed to be controversial. You were hired at one point. You said so yourself. Why then use this forum to continue with the same old axe?
