Check out where I found some LS\'s

They are 3 1 watt Cyan's for a moon glow effect for My Fiancee's Reef tank, pretty neat. Price??? Well just say she cant ***** about my lights.... EVER!!! Not that she ever has but now she can't

here is a link to the assembly.

That's a total 495 Watts...so how many lumens is that????

it blows the hell out of the 300 Watts of CFL she has now...

She be able to keep any corral in the world and even a clam or two.

well figure. the most efficent white luxeons right now....i think can do 35 lumens per watt, but i'd stay closer to 30 for reality. and fluorescents can do something between 80-90 lumens per watt, so count your bulbs do the math. but ultimately it depends on how much you paid for the thing, cause ultimately it's the quality parts that determine efficiency.

this just in! i think the cyan Luxeons are 22-25 lumens/watt, not that it will make that big of difference, since there are only 3.

Yea the kicker is when the Electric bill comes in...

all that wattage in the various tanks, heaters and pumps keeps the meter spinning like a ceiling fan...
