n00b: What\'s the difference between X5 and X5T?

Hi guys, I'm new to CPF and to torches, and there's something that's been a little unclear to me for a while: What's the difference between the Inova "X5" and the "X5T"?

I always thought the X5T was the old name for the new X5. I mean, the X5 used to have those indented sides, but then they replaced them with the flat ones. Is the X5T just the standard name for the X5, or is it something special?

And by the way, I don't have an X5, but I'm about to order two (one with white beam in titanium finish, one with UV in black) from PoliceGearUSA.

The "T" stands for "tactical." The X5 was changed to include the tactical tailcap (press for on, twist for constant on).

If you're in the market for an X5T, you should check out the County Comm X5T-HA. It's the best X5 you can buy, IMHO.

I got it... So the X5T is the X5 we all know and love. Okay, cool.

I was actually reading the thread about those County Comm X5Ts, and they look really nice. The price is unbelievable for a customized light like that... Only $5 more than a normal X5T from PoliceGearUSA.

x5= Awesome light I would maim badly for.
x5t= POS that the designer should have been maimed badly for.
