Had this:

as an inside the door in case I come home to no power light.

But then I played with it last night and saw this:

This is at 3' or so from the target. Move out 6 - 8 feet from the target and the beam is nearly if not as tight!

This is all wrong for what is called for.

So I got my Dorcy 2C 8LED light from my stash. I also got two AA to C adapters I had from a Rayovac charger purchase some months or a year ago. I stuffed two slightly used LITH AAs into the adapters, made a paracord loop to hang it from, and have a MUCH better solution!

I also tried the LED from the Dorcy (PR Based single 5MM) in 3D Craftsman Tool Light, and Rayovac Industrial 3D. The beam gets a smidgen bigger, and very smooth. And the batteries should last almost forever at that drain. But if I put an Incandescent bulb in the Dorcy, it is a hopeless beam!

So anyhow, I have a better solution for an emergency light out of all this. And would likely sell this Dorcy 4AA if someone wanted it.

And ain't quite as bored as I was after Michael Shumacher slaughtered everyone else at F1 in Japan!!!
