I made a few of these. They are made in my shop by me. They are titanium. They will fit the Longbow and Aleph tailcaps. If these sell out, I will make more. They DO come with the screw, I forgot to bring the screws when I took the pic.

Re: FS: Pocket Clips for Longbow and Aleph tailcaps

These look great, I was JUST talking about the Aleph needing a clip in chat.

I see these are attached with just one screw, are they trying to pivot on you?

I think these will sell well /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: FS: Pocket Clips for Longbow and Aleph tailca

I'd take A,B,I

I'd like two of them heat-treated. As I live outside of the US that would make $48 ... right?

PM inbound!

Re: FS: Pocket Clips for Longbow and Aleph tailcaps

These are HEAT COLORED. It's my understanding that titanium does't need to be heat treated. If I'm wrong, I'll pull them all off the sale and cancel the sale till I can get them treated.

MUT
As far as we discussed in the PM will have to wait till the next batch. These are all I have. Once these sell, I will order some more blanks and do some like we discussed.

As far as the clip turning on the cap. I've been using one on my Longbow for about two weeks without it moving. If you crank down on it, it will stay put.

I can do the heat coloring on any of them.

LOCO is more like it.
Re: FS: Pocket Clips for Longbow and Aleph tailcaps

I assume that the screw head/clip end goes beyond the Aleph tail cap? Meaning it will probalby still tail-stand, but won't be as steady?

Thanks for offering these!

Re: FS: Pocket Clips for Longbow and Aleph tailcaps

Yes Darrel. I forgot to mention that. They will still stand on end, just off kilter a bit and not as steady. Unfortunately the design of the tail cap on both these lights doesn't leave much room for that.

Re: FS: Pocket Clips for Longbow and Aleph tailcaps

Just a thought, but isn't it possible to use the mounting hole for the swivel clip on the Aleph to attach a "normal" clip? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

Re: FS: Pocket Clips for Longbow and Aleph tailcaps

It MAY be possible. I'm going to give it a try on the next batch. The only problem I foresee is the smaller screw not having a large enough surface area to be able to hold the clip as well as the larger screw can.

Re: FS: Pocket Clips for Longbow and Aleph tailcaps

The clip seems to be on the edge of the tailcap, so maybe a slight bend there could help in keeping the clip from moving sideways?

Re: FS: Pocket Clips for Longbow and Aleph tailcaps

Try to make the clip shaped to the light,,, if it "hugs" the roundness of the light, that will prevent it from pivoting.
Plus, if will fit smoother, and more flush.

I know Paypal has been a little screwy the last couple of days. I'm not pushing you to pay, just want to let you know that it's fine to wait till Paypal gets it's stuff together.

If you like "F" "H" or "I", I can drill those patterns or another pattern on the two remaining clips, "C" and "E".

Thanks,

Re: FS: Pocket Clips for Longbow and Aleph tailcaps

I`ll take the last one!
Nicely heat coloured and shipped to Germany is 20.-USD!?

Just have to transfer the money to my paypal account. But that could take 3 days.
Thanks in advance,
Wolfgang
