I've read that an under power Luxeon 3 watt make the beam slighly green and my Arc 4+ is slighly green. Is mine a 3 watt luxeon?

Only a few Lux IIIs were used in the Arc4 production. The tint will not indicate the part definitively.

Gransee, it's good to see that you're still hanging around helping others the best you can.

If I open up and unsolder the LED on my Arc 4, is there some kind of description somewhere that would tell me what LED it is?

My understanding is that the internals of the arc 4's are potted in. To remove the guts would destroy the innards. Therefore I say if it ain't broke don't fix it.
