Stramlight stinger mod

my dept issues the streamlight stinger. Is there a way to mod it for greater output? Run time is not a prime considertion as I am looking to use it as a distatcion device. The Tiger 85 looks like a winner but I am a little short on funds and already have 3 stingers.

Not really...Well, you could run an Ultrastinger bulb/heead with a custom battery pack.

For slightly more light, run a Strion bulb in your Stinger. Will work w/out modification.

I'm not a huge believer in the "llight as a distraction/blinding" device to begin with, but with a Stinger, there are not too many options to obtain a higher output.

I use the superstinger bulb head combo now and the bulb must be seriously undedriven if in the ultrastinger it nearly doubles it's output. I love light for distraction/concealment. In my Youth I actually was published onthe efectiveness of light as concealment.
