The IMS 17mm fits with little to no modifications. However, the IMS 20mm can also be filed down to fit and gives a brighter hotspot due to the larger diameter and depth.

IMS 20 mm filed down... where to filed ? legs? wide open side?
Must used machining or simple sand paper to file it ?

Do you know how long of it's legs measure from lamp hole to end of leg.

Get rid of all the legs, file down the length from the open end of the reflector and slim down the sides of the reflector until they fit. I used a fine grade file to do it by hand. Took about 2 hours to fit it, but the results are worth it. Fits the Mag 2AA head much better than the 17mm.

The reflector hole wide enough to let Luxeon pass through it's hole or reflector sitting on Luxeon body, only lets luxeon lens into hole ?

Yes... That is how I am using it on my MiniMiniMag 1AA with a modified IMS 20mm reflector. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
