This modified configuration gives a broad sidespill beam, with a tight center hotspot that throws twice as well as the Arc LSH-P.
Some notes:
1. There are a few small artifacts at the edge of the hotspot, but these are not noticeable except in a picky "white wall test" at close distances.
2. The reflector is glued in place, but it should be removable if you need to. The adhesive used was Shoe Goo, not epoxy or anything else super-strong. It is possible that the reflector will be ruined if you need to pry it loose.
3. The head is currently assembled in a bezel-oring-lens-body configuration, with a thin coat of silicone grease between the lens and body. For maximum waterproofness, it should be bezel-lens-oring-body. With the original optics removed, however, the oring will kink and pop loose if you try the original order of assembly. If you can find a stiffer oring (or gasket), you should be able to change back to the more waterproof original configuration.
