What\'s up with my ARC Limited?

Aloha ALL!

I got an ARC Limited a while back. Initially, this light worked only when it wanted to. I immediately cleaned the points on it. Still nothing when I WANTED it to work!

I replaced the RayoVac battery with a Duracell, just to see if it made a diff. LOL! Now that ARC works 97% of the time...maybe more as 4 out of 5 times, it'll go on. It is working better than before, but...what's the deal here?
