This was only a brief comparison done last night in total darkness.

1. In larger areas the Magcharger was more practical because of its wider beamangle.
2. The Pelican was much better/brighter when aiming at spesific objects, both at short and long distances, outdoors and indoors.

Pelican M11: 10W 40.000CP 163.7 Lumen
Magcharger: 9W 30.000CP 159 Lumen

Do you know which NiCd cells are used in the M11? Which size and how many? And do you have the bulb's data?
5 SubC cells? And a 6V bulb?

What were the batteries' state when you made the test? (Fully charged, one day rest, switched on for 3 minutes, little rest and then making the test would be ideal)

My M-11 usues a 4 C-cell battery pack rated at 4.8volts/2400MAH...And this light is VERY good, and I've been happy with it both as a primary duty light (where it is rotated with an Ultrastinger) and a home (utility) light...

I used new batteries, full-charged. I think think they have been recharged 5 or 6 times earlier. I switched on for 10 minutes, then took a rest and drove to a different location (30 minutes) and switched on for 30 minutes.

How does the M11 compare with the Ultrastinger?
