New Body For Surefire M962

Okay, I have a M962 but would like to change the body so that it can be used efficiently when not mounted on a rifle -- say, for a backpacking trip.

Now, the question is, can I do this with a Surefire body? If so, a body from what light? I'd like to just keep an eye on eBay or here on the forums instead of contacting Surefire directly and gettin' raped on the deal.

To replace the MH90 with a "tube" you'll need two Classic WeaponLight parts (only in black) - the A21 Universal Housing and the A19 SF123A Extension.

You can see them used here as a substitute for the U2 body, and the MH90 being used as a substitute for the U2 body here

Couldnt that bezel, lamp assembly, and tailswitch work on a M3 body? That is a 3x123 torch?

Thinking about it, you could just use the U2 body...

Nice pics. I always thought the selector ring was integral with the body, not with the bezel.

The selector ring is part of the bezel - otherwise you wouldn't be able to do this.

Sorry, I don't have any spare U2 bodies...
