Anyone use cabela\'s 3 watt rechargeable XPG light?

Hi all. I picked up one of these lights at Cabela's in Hamburg Pa. last week. Say's 80 lumens for 3 hrs. with supplied Nitefox 3.7 volt. 2000 mah battery.
I'm quite happy with this light.
Any other users comments would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I also picked up one of these lights at the same store. It seemed to work very well at first, very bright. In very short order it would get very dim then return to full brightness. I returned it and got another, it did the same thing. I hope your luck is better than mine. It's a shame. It seems well made, and comes with both a car charger and an A/C charger. I realy liked it. I just couldn't get it to work right.

WOW! Thanks Ted T. I Haven't run it for more than a couple minutes at a time.
I'll run it for a little while right now and see what happens.
Thanks for the quick reply.

It would be nice to hear from someone else. I can't believe we are the only ones to try this light.

Well after 40 mins the brightness stayed the same and the light got about as warm as my kl1/e1e. Whew! So far so good. Couldn't find that battery at batterystation.com.
Would like to hear more input also.
p.s. Igrabbed a 5watt XPG at the same time but the 3 watter has a tighter brighter spot. I shouldn't need another flashlight fix for a while. unless?

I have the 5 watt xpg. Its like using a computer projector as a lightm, square beam. Low is not that bright at all, but high is, up close and certain colors or things seem to lite up, while others do not.

I guess its ok, not as bright as I thought it would be.
