I have a homemade bike light that I'm forever fiddling with, trying to find a brighter option, longer runtime, etc.
I run it off of a 12v pack I made, and currently use a 20W MR16 bulb. Nothing fancy, but it is very bright.
I've seen a few HID units, and they are VERY bright. Is there a MR16-esque bulb that uses the HID technology? If so, where can I track one down at? I google'd for a while and am not getting much help. I have a few emails around, but am still waiting.
Also, it should be the same size/form as the standard old MR16, or else I'll have to find a new housing, which will probably frustrate me.
