I know you can buy the Surefire lanyard assembly for a G2 but I was thinking about making my own with paracord. Anyone with a good/better idea for attaching to the G2, or can you just get the ring attachment? My first thought was using the Chris Reeve knot to attach to the gap between the body and the endcap. I tried to fix a lanyard at the G2 without the attachment ring myself for a while, but I didn´t find a possibility to do this without the lanyard coming loose after a short time and I never had a good feeling about this. But You can buy the ring without the complete Lanyard. That´s cheaper and You can use the kind of paracord or whatever You want.
