Drooling at the prospect of the Luxeon side emitter

There has been very little discussion here about the [hopefully] soon to be available 1W white Luxeon side emitter, the LXHL-FW1C. Of all the promised Luxeon products in the pipeline I find that it is by far the most exciting. Do others feel this way? It seems to offer what seems to be the Holy Grail in LED lighting for many here. Specifically, the prospect of producing a light with a *really bright* narrow beam. Per the datasheet, this device will emit at least 85% of the total flux more than 45 degrees off of the central axis. Therefore, used with a modestly deep parabolic reflector [such as that from a AA MiniMag] it should be possible to focus most of the output into a beam. I'm hoping that some energetic board member organizes a group buy on these.

Yep, I am excited by the thought of a focusable LS or one that can use a reflector.
