Spyderco: The knife company that builds reasonably priced, practical knives and will listen to customer demand and on occasions will bring back discontinued models for a spirit run and also has great product support and a decent following
Which light company is equivalent to that?

Streamlight probably comes closest to those requirements- exept bringing back discontinued models. The evolution of pocket-knives is a very different story than that of flashlights.

OK, now I'm recovered.

Seriously, now. I don't see how Kershaw can make those knives like the Vapor and Vapor II, and maybe even the Chive and Scallion and sell them so cheap at places like Walmart. They are seriously great knives.

Now, I have a lot of lights, but not ALL flashlights, and I really would like to know who the Kershaw of flashlights is (incredibly cheap, great, handsome, outstanding light-blasters that are readily available--please no Maglites, Everreadys, Dorsys, or Colemans). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks.
