Dorcy 1AAA accidentally washed with two pair of jeans. No signs of damage. Pretty impressive. No leakage in head. A drop or two of water in battery compartment, but I had the tail cap unscrewed a bit to prevent accidental activation of push button.

I did this with my Streamlight three button cell key ring light last year and got a white film on the inside of the lens, but it still worked also.

One of mine got lost last January and I looked everywhere for it. Five days later I found it at the end of my driveway smack in the middle of tire ruts sitting in a puddle that froze at night. I figure it went through 4 or 5 freeze thaw cycles and got run over god knows how many times. Amazingly it looked no worse for wear and after a gentle drying off it still works.

For $6 it's amazing how tough these buggers are.

I washed my keys, bus tickets, IDs and my knife light. Since the knife light has never worked right. Boy my keys sure look cleaner.
