Tomorrow (Sunday, 11/14) 60 Minutes is going to interview the leading CIA terror expert (he left the agency yesterday) who is going to tell the world that Osama Bin Laden has received approval from Islamic clerics to detonate a nuclear device in the United States.

With the proliferation of 2nd hand nukes available and the willingness of terrorists to die for their cause, this is not beyond realization.

The thought of this ever happening is very sobering.

If second hand nukes were available at your average border arms mart, sure that there would be several been used already.

Loads of countries would like to join the nuclear club, but nuclear devices takes looking after and infrastructure to stop it wiping out its user rather than a target.

But NEST have been around for years:

The insecure Soviet stockpile and AQ Khan network in Pakistan have been happening for years now. It's just scary.

If they do, I figure the UN will quickly become obsolete, and the US will crank up its award winning war machine.

The bad side of it all is that muslims are now integrated throughout Europe, The Netherlands has been having alot of issues with this recently. Something like this goes down, and it could be quite a mess for Europe.

Wow, I just watched it. Buckle up folks!

Lets try and leave the religious generalisation out of here.

Christian Fundamentalists have started plenty of wars over the centuries as well. Sure other religions can shamefully also hold the same claim.

If you substituted the word "Bible" in another thread for "Koran" would it even still exist on this board?

There is nutters everywhere, wether they hide behind a banner of religion, nationalism or even a football team, their still just nutters hiding behind a banner.

I would doubt the creditbility of that CIA terror expert given the faulty intelligence history concerning the agency in the past.

This thread is bound for the Underground but Newbie was not saying all Muslims or evil. The fact that the basis for the problem is based in a faction of the Muslim religion is indisputable. These people claim the use of the Koran as a justification for murdering innocent civilians. What I would like to see is peace loving Muslims stand up to these thugs and either help bring them back from the dark side or eradicate them. Supposedly there are 1.2 billion Muslims around the would, they need to stand up for their religion because it's a Muslim issue and it has given the religion a black eye. OBTW, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to substitute the word Christian, Jewish, Hindu or other if it applied because like LED-FX said, "...Christians have started plenty of wars" and so have others

Thread nearly closed.

Try substituting, the word "American" for "Muslim" in your post Dave, might give you some idea of how many others view the U.S.

In the U.K. for many years we have had problems with gangs of organised thugs associating themselves with football, soccer as you may think of it, clubs. These thugs call themselves `casuals` such as Manchester United Casuals.

Don`t hear anyone saying that football should be universally disgraced because of the actions of a few who associate themselves with it.

These must be the people that BIGIRON finds to be suspect, all these people have talked to the folks at 60 minutes this year. So, if you don't like what they say, they are immediately suspect and have no credibility?

As Dave said, it's headed to the Underground. The issues raised, and the manner of discussion are already indistinguishable from Underground discussion. Thread closed.
