Is the MaxpeditionCC Bail Out Bag worth the extra?

Just wondering if anyone has both the original & 'new & improved' versions & whether the 'Maxpeditionized' version is worth the extra cost?

Are the end pockets for drinks/radios the same size on both versions?

I was about to pull the trigger, then I saw the Maxpedition version and got trgger lock while I tried to figure it out.

Looks like the Max holds its shape much better.
