\"The North Face\" stuff on ebay - fake?

There seems to be a load of fair priced TNF stuff on ebay from many different sellers. All seems cheap,but odd times you catch a label that somehow isn't quite perfect .
Does anyone know if this stuff is snide? Is there a ripoff going on (like fake stuff everywhere else,TAG,Levis,Omega,Von Dutch etc).Any one know before I dive in for a jacket? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

when I was in China aprox 4 years ago. I saw Northface knockoffs at roadside vendors everywhere.

I also purchaced an jacket that was nearly perfect in imiation, it was soo good that I was almost impressed. Of course the jacket did not have the same quality and is falling apart after a couple of months of just regular wear.

My Mom works for The North Face and she see's a bunch of their products being imitated. People even send them "fakes" for repair under their lifetime warranty. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif The owner gets a rude awakening when they find out that they have a fake....
