I was cleaning the glass lens on my Vector 1.5MCP spotlight a little while ago and dropped it...and of course it broke. I was thinking about trying to cut a peice of plexiglass to cover it. Do you guys think that would melt? It's got a 100 watt H3 bulb.

I would not use plastic on it for sure. I have had 100 watt driving lights with glass lenses on them and they get very hot I am not sure plex would melt or not but the heat may effect it in a negative way clouding it to uselessness if it doesn't. Try seeing if you can order another piece of glass for it from somewhere that is suitable. I am not sure if it uses tempered heat resistant glass or not.

You could also try and get a similar thickness piece of glass from a hardware store and a circle cutter.

You could...... just try the manufacturer for a replacement

If this isn't he correct lens you could email them and I would guess you could get one for $7.00.
