Predator Led Extreme

Hi everyone, would like to know if Predator Extreme Led can run on two rechargeables or one Pila 168s.
I've looked under Led Museum and Flashlights Review , but could not find an answer.

The body is so tight that I cannot even fit a Pila 168s battery into it without boring it out first. The light is dimmer when driven with only a 3.7v Pila battery.

I don't have any R123's, so I haven't tried that configuration.

Thks guys. I've just e-mail Led Xtreme asking this question.
I do have the lithium rechargeable but dare not try yet.
