Looks like Giant Software is the one that gets 75% of the junkware files installed by Kazaa. It's $29.95 USD per year after a 15 day free trial.
It's easy to become paranoid after reading all this stuff. It seems there is no way to 100% remove/prevent the adware/spyware.
Here's what I use:
Zone Alarm.....firewall
Ad-Aware.......finds junkware
Spybot.........finds/prevents (Immunization) junkware
Spyware Blaster...prevents junkware
The above are all freeware. As the "test" shows, they don't find or prevent everything, but along with Symantec AntiVirus (payware), they do a good enough job to keep my computer running relatively troublefree.
