Replacing LED on Fire Fly

I want to replace the LED on my FF2. It is so ugly green. I have some TWOJ LUX III's I would like to use. I am hoping that this will improve the nasty green color and possibly make it brighter. I am wondering if anyone else has done this. I was also looking for any pointers anyone may have.
Any help is appreciated.

The Firefly uses "drop-in sandwiches" from Dat2Zip (Wayne) as pictured below:



He has a forum here called "The Sandwich Shoppe".

You can find information about removing and replacing the sandwich in the Firefly's maker's (Doug Speck) forum, "DSpeck's Forum". The forum is read-only, but the info is there.

The simplest method would be to simply purchase another sandwich and install it. You can purchase them through Wayne's online store under "Drop-in Sandwiches" (look in the upper left).

For questions about the sandwiches, check in Wayne's forum. If you really want to replace the LED on the sandwich, Wayne's forum would be the best place to look for advice.
