My mom's got an old Solitare and I want to toss an LED in there for her. Her favorite color is blue, so all it really needs to do is throw about 3 feet, any farther than that and she's got real lights. Where do I go for something like this?? Rat Shack?

Yes, I recommend lsdiodes too. They sell pretty good LEDs /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Although, a solitare runns on 1xAAA battery IIRC.(never had one) either a booster would be needed or a custom battery config.

superbrightleds.com also carries some 3mm (T-1) LEDS, but wildrice is right, you'll neede maybe som buttons or a booster circuit to get the voltage neer 3.6, which is the voltage for a blue LED.
