Somebody here is selling textured reflectors for mag lites and, i can't find the thread. does anyone know where it is ?

I got one from him. He is great to deal with, quick shipping, no problems. I also got a 8AA to D adaptor from him on a different deal, which is now closed for the unregulated version. He might have regulated.

PS the reflector is MOP or medium orange peel aluminum. Makes a better looking beam but looses a little throw. Also great for super bulbs since it can handle the heat.

That's the one I want. I want to jazz up a 3D Mag a little. Not sure what lamp to put in it though. I want to keep it in 3D configuration and incandescent.

Yes, I got one of the MOP reflectors too. I may put it in a 2D M*G or 3D m*G depending on the bulb. I also got the 3AA to D adaptors fro Electro Lumins. So i can run it from 6AA or 9AA. So a 2D M*g could be as bright as a 6D m*g with a simple bulb change. I also order some GH24s. But i am really waiting for the WA1111 and WA1185s.

But if you keep it as a 3D mag, that is fine. It will make it a nicer beam.
