(Where To) Hard Anodize A Flashlight

Hi All,

A friend of mine, whom I just recently found out is also a flashoholic is considering getting a Streamlight Flashlight that he owns redone in a Natural Hard Anodized 3 finish?

Might anyone be able to shed any light on where this might be able to be done, and what the potential cost involved might be?

Yellow Pages. Plating/Annodizing. Failing that, start calling local machine shopes (look in yellow pages again).

Most shops have a $ 100 minimum, so it pays if you can find some way to do it as a group. 100 parts might only be 2x the price of 1 part.

Thank you very much for all of the info. I have found a shop in my area who owuld indeed do anodizing, and in turn I passed that info along to my friend.

It seems he is not sure if he will go ahead and do it, as he thinks that scratches and such add character to his light, which I do agree with.
