The date is probably a typo. By the description they give of the runtime it sounds like this LED Scorpion would be regulated...

And no, the price is not tripled closer to being doubled but not tripled!

I wonder if the reflector will be similar to the Incan Scorpion whereas it is lightly orange peeled. It could end up being a descent thrower. I wonder if it will have an adjustable beam or will it be fixed? Boy, all these questions???

Mainly due to price, I can't see any need in my arsenal of a 123 powered LUX1 light.

My Lambda does +- 2hr. on Nimh AAs and looks like a stock minim*g.

My two XM3s have good runtime for free (NimH).

And any of them could sit for years with Lith AAs aboard.

Besides, the Inova XO is along similar lines and looks and feels killer.
