Cree does have a 525 nm chip which puts out 9 mW at 20 mA and 3.2V typical Vf. This should be good for an overall luminous efficiency of 65 to 70 lm/W.

I once tried to find a decent lime-green or yellow-green LED in the 560-570nm range ... I only got a dim one, and not one more.
Now I know why ...

We've talked about this several times in the past. Thats why, theoretically, the best 'tactical' light would be green (and not cyan).

In the early luxeon days, there were many mods with different colored LEDs. Now they are very rare. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

FYI, this curve is scaled to the "perfect" efficiency, such that at 470nm, if the LED was 100% efficient, it would put out 62.139 lumens.

One of us asked me to show the bottom end a bit clearer, so I have expanded it:
