Saving streaming audio to hard drive?

Does anybody know of a method to save streaming audio from internet radio stations to your hard drive? There are a couple of shows that are on late that I wish I could just save to the hard drive and listen later. Probably the creators don't want you to do that but the quality isn't so good that I really don't think there would be a concern to transform the music from the hard drive into audio cds, etc.

there are programs out there.... my advice is to hit a search engine and look for programs able to save the file type used for streaming. sometimes you can tell your downloading program to save those files to disk instead of opening them.

I use Total Recorder to record all audio from my computer, including chat and streaming audio.
