Hey cpf,

My girlfriend recently got me a vortex kc-1, and man i am really impressed! Although the battery is a cr-2, it appears to have a brighter hot spot than my micra! this being said, they are both using optics also, so i feel that it is an even comparison. anyways does any one else have one? have the same brightness? although not machined as nice, i feel its a good light. i kind of dont like the keychain part

I have not even seen one yet on person, but it is an interesting looking light.

According to quickbeam's chart, the KC1 has about as much output as the Nuwai Quantum I, Inova T1 or the beloved ARC LSH-P.

And about as much throw as the Quantum III, Inova T1 - more throw than the Surefire KL1/L1 and almost as much as the Inova T2 or Surefire E1E.

If they made a 123 body it would be a shweet Arc replacement.
