I would like some recomendations for a good replacement for the LED in an ARC AAA. I have 2 standard versions of these lights and one has considerably less output and a bluer tint than the other. I would like a led that is whiter and brighter. I read somewhere that NICHIA has a new led that lasts 150% longer on power consumption. Is this true. Are these brighter and whiter than the leds that came in the ARC? Also someone may know a better led to use that is not a NICHIA

If you can replace the LED in an Arc AAA head without destroying the head, you're a better modder than me! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I *think* Peak Solutions (check Manufacturer's Corner) is, or will be offering a head with their "snow" LEDS. Others- please correct me as required.
