I don't know if you guys have seen the fivemega Light.
I am not sure where to start. It is a d'cell mag body and head replacment. Mine has a beautiful heat sink type head and 3 inch reflector with a WA1274 bulb being driven at 7.2 volts from 12 2400 nimh aa cells. Bright and Hefty.
What a platform this is. I can't wait so see where people take this system.

It is bigger than it looks.

That is the infamous "Assault and Batteries" tailpiece designed by MrBulk for his 2C cell SpaceNeedle and SNII creations. It allows the use of 6AA cells.

Mine is currently being used to run an WA1111 bulb and doing it magnificently!!

That purple is little gaudy for my taste, but I would expect that some University of Washington fan would love it!!

I get tired of bare aluminum black and ha III natural finishes.
I don't see too many brightly finished lights.
The light is a regulated (Bad Boy or the like) LUX III scorcher. one of my most intense flashlights. The titanium tip makes it very practical for vehicle use. Pops a window with the greatest of ease.
