KLx Fit and Finish?

Not that it matters much because I've got to have one anyway, but I was wondering what is the fit and finish will be like on the KL3?

....and would it be a good match to the finish on a Z3 Combat Light? Will the KLxs' come in HA?

The KL's are all HA right now, I believe. Don't know what the future will bring.

I think KL3 will have black as well. I'm not sure if it would be available in the very first shipment of KLx though.

I expect that KL3-HA units will be shipping first with KL3-BK shipping later.

The FIT of the KLx?
They fit all the SureFire bodies they are supposed to.

I currently have a KL3 on a 7Z (which is about the same length as the Z3). It looks strange - Black body, HA bezel. HA KL3 Bezel!
So I put an SW02 Chunkie Clickie TailCap on it to give it some balance. It works. Kinda. It's long, it's strange, it's been constant-on for an hour next to an E2e+KL1 and they are both as bright as when they started which is really boring.

The KLx are illumination tools to be used, not sat on my desk doing runtime tests! Regulated output is boring to watch... I need a PC data logger.
