yes, that is the reflector. it does a nice job of shaping and throwing some light forward--cleanly.
at least with the 5mm leds.

The same reflector does what it can with the eliptical pattern from SMD LEDs. It reflects most of the light that hits it just grand.

Hmm, mine didn't come with one. I have the survival model. Anyone know if Palight sells them as an accessory? I'm happy with my light but the beam pattern is a little blotchy.
