Inova 2AA (Super Xnova???) look-alike @ Princess Auto - spotted at CANADA for only 7.77 CDN /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif . Shipping cost is less than 5$.

It's almost the same as the Xnova, but only has 5 LEDs instead of 8 LEDs.

great price but that light is useless...
there's no booster circuite in there, which results in minimal light given the fact that the led's need more then
3V.

I haven't used that particular light, but the 1xAA XNova (5 LEDs) is quite impressive considering the price. My two definately put out more light than the Dorcy 1xAA 3xLED light.

Actually I've got two of these and they're really pretty bright. Very decent lights, especially for less than eight bucks (CDN).

Was that post on RFD recent? They were sold out the last couple of times I was there and I was told that they were more or less a "doorcrasher" sale item -- ie: no restock.
