I believe they are... I have to admit that the last two A2's I purchased were not typical units though. They both have TailCap Lanyard Rings for certain though. I have a pile of lanyards. It's reasonable to assume the A2's lanyards are in the pile...
I suggest you call SureFire or your friendly SureFire Dealer to confirm.

FWIW, my new L1 ordered from Surefire came with a lanyard attached.

My A2 was purchased new in November 2004. It came with snap ring and lanyard. Very nice stuff, too.
Of course, I had to get an SC-3 (it comes with a lanyard too) and extra MA02 lamp, which nestles nicely above the four 123s.
Together, they make a very handy piece of kit. Bring on your power outages! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
