What is the tip polarity of head lamps?

Does anyone know what the socket polarity is for head lamps (both pr and screw types) for differnt brands? Is the tip polarity positive or negative?

useually it is POSITIVE and the ring is negative. I have only seen one years ago that was reversed.

Yeha, the tip is usally positive. People do thing the way they are used to doing them and that is always how it has been done.
