E2e and E2D lenses

I have seen that you can squeese a larger bulb in the E2E Bezzle, (If any body knows of any links to these modds can you provide a thread link please.)

Anyway this Mod requires an o-ring to space between the bezzle boddy and the bezzle cap as the P60-61-90+91 are longer than the Mn03.

What i was wondering was. Has anybody taken a E2D Bezzle apart and is the Lense concave on the inside or is it flat.

A concave lense may allow a bit more room inside so that i could do the mod without an O ring but if the E2D lense is flat inside then It would be good to know.

Search for E2+. It's the name that was eventually given to this mod.

The E2d lens is concave on the inside, which allows a little longer bulb. I'm not sure if the extra space is enough to completely remove the need for the o-ring spacer. I have a recent E2d head with a flat lens, so the domed lens might not be standard any more.
