Should I get the KL1?

I have the SF L4 and I am wondering whether or not I should give it a Kl1 fourth generation head. I mainly use this light for camping so the Kl1 may benefit me. So, is it worth it?

First of all the beam of the 4th gen. KL1 is very different from the L4. It's a very focused spot with virtually no sidespil, whereas the L4, as you know, is a flood light that illuminates a big area. If what you are looking for, regarding your camping trips, is longer runtime, I would suggest you buy a two stage tailcap (McE2s) from McGizmo for your L4.

If however you are looking for a pocketable quite long throwing light by which you can spot deer between the trees, the new KL1 is a very good choice.
