I just got this 5 watt LED, and on the package, it claims it can go up to 120 Lumens. I have the Q3 as well, and it says that i can go up to 75 lumens. It has been stated on this forum that if you pop in recharabgles into the Q3, it will get brighter.

My questions are, does anyone know what the light output of the 5 watt is right now? as well, can i put 2 recharagables into it to make it brighter?
Thanks

you can calculate the output of your light:

1) open the head, dismantle the led star, see the bin of the led

2) measure the amps that pass through the led with primary and secondary batteries.

now you have all the datas for calculate the output

Nuwai overrates their lights a little. No big deal- some manufacturers overrate their lights a lot.

I understand that the TM-116 does put out a lot of light, but doesn't focus to a real small spot like some others do.
