Inova T2 Rubber Gasket (?) Sticking Out!

Just noticed what looks (and feels) like a rubber gasket protruding slightly (~0.5 to 1mm) out from beneath the stainless steel <font color="red">ring</font> (ie the gasket is between the black body <font color="red">bezel</font> and the <font color="red">ring</font>) on one side of the T2. It appears to be a slight manufacturing defect/error.
I would like to correct this defect, if possible, by unscrewing (?) the stainless steel <font color="red">ring</font> and re-aligning the gasket. So, can the <font color="red">ring</font> be (easily) unscrewed or removed and replaced without damage? If so, how?

Removing the bezel is a long and arduous process that almost certainly voids the lifetime warrantee. Just take advantage of the aforementioned LIFETIME warrantee and contact Inova.

Sorry folks! I meant stainless steel <font color="red">ring</font>, which sits on top of the main bezel. I presume that this ring can be unscrewed using, perhaps, something like a "band wrench"?
