My collection of HID lights is seriously growing...

Slightly off topic:
Where do you guys store all your lights?
I used to keep them on top of a dresser, but then the
kids would start playing with them, and my battery bill
was getting out of hand...

Now I keep them in a drawer, but the collection is
growing into another drawer. (I tell the wife that they
must be multiplying, but I don't think she believes me)

i am wondering what's the brightness and runtime are like for a HID set up like this? how practical or durable are they?
