Is my SF A2 ok?

Was using my A2 last night when suddenly the beam just dimmed down and turn orange in a split secound. I heard of other folks that their A2 will totally switch off on low batt (only the led is left running). Since I knew the batts is running low so I brought along a set of new spare batt. I am wondering why my A2 didn't shut off the xenon bulb (as what other A2 does), hmm...has the regulating circuit spoilt? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I think it's fine, mine does that regularly as the battery is getting to depleted for the Incadescent bulb. IT's orange before it shuts off completely

Sound normal when the incandescent drops out of regulation. The LEDs should still be working (for quite some time).

Sometimes mine shuts down. Other times if I keep hitting the switch it will come on dim, then bright, then drop back down. I can do this a few times then it will not light up the incan at all.
