Gathering parts - Gonna need lenses....

Looking at Flashlightlense.com I see UCL and Borofloat Glass lenses. I go for quality of beam over all out brightness.

I'll be doing some WA01111, WA01160 and WA01185 lights.

Will UCLLDF stand up to the heat?

Or will this stuff be so all out bright that I wouldn't notice?

You don't want to put LDF on a lens that has the superbulbs behind it. Go for an orange peel reflector if you want to smooth things out. If you do short runs primarily (15 seconds to 2-3 minutes max) then LDF will probably be ok. Keep in mind a superbulb will begin melting the thick stock polycarbonate lens in under 4 minutes.
