At SHOT Show, I ran across a booth- MILITEC-1 .

They were giving out samples of a Gun Lube. It is a conversion coating-type lube that bonds with the metal surfaces when heat activated. They have a policy of supplying FREE lube to any of our soldiers who are in harm's way.

So if you are headed over, or know anyone who is serving overseas, just give them a holler. I'm not affiliated with this company- Just thought it was a good jesture by Militec-1.

Search them up at their namesake website. The fellow I spoke with was Russell A. Logan, JR-Senior VP...

Sounds good to me. Can be good, can be snake oil, I can't say, haven't used it.

Too bad I have less than one month left in this sandbox, so I will continue to use Tuf-Glide stuff from Sentry solutions. Worked for me so far.

This is what I use on all my guns, both personally owned (no I didn't take any with me /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif ) and my issued weapons. I've been using it for about six or seven years now and like it. Probably doesn't live up to their hype, but then what does?
