What kind of light output is the Nuwai QIII. Flood or beam.

tight hotspot with a bright corona. My arc ls with reflector mod has a bigger hotspot than the QIII but the corona is dimmmer. Overall I would probably say that the QIII is a better flood light than spot.

What? you don't have one yet? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I agree with Turt, nice hotspot with a great usable spill (about 8 feet at 9-10 feet). I'm happy with the throw mine has, lights up the tree tops pretty good.

It is about as perfect mixture of both you could dream of. Nice throw and plenty of flood...get one you wont be disappointed...especially on the R123 cells

I bought a couple of these, one for each of my teenage sons. I have to say I was very, very surprised by the quality of the beam. The output from the QIII really looks like it belongs to a much more expensive light, at least that's what I thought. It is very, very nice!

I fitted a smoothe reflector to one of mine, the beam is now much more concentrated with less side spill.

I think I prefer the original reflector, as mentioned above its a great balance.
